Ampersand 2: Rentfont
As a reinterpretation of Paul Renner’s Futura, our typeface, Futures, is composed entirely out of the logos of multinational corporations. It is cynically forecast as the future default face as each letter is sponsored, making redundant the need for proprietory fonts. This issue of Ampersand became the catalogue for the accompanying exhibition at Citylights , a set of lightboxes on an alleyway wall off Flinders Lane, Melbourne.
