I’ve always thought it strange that font designers working in their glistening white studios call their workplace a foundry – of course this terminology harks back to a period when metal type was cast and people got their hands dirty making the stuff. So it was a wonderful experience to be working on a typographic project where you do find yourself in a real foundry. As part of a project we are currently putting into production, we thought you might enjoy this image. More information about the finished project to come soon.
