Since beginning her practice in 1998, Nicola Cerini has developed a suite of textile designs adorning a myriad of objects including furnishings and bags. Her bags have evolved from their early incarnations into being something of a Melbourne institution. Nicola’s interest in Australian flora and the environment in general has been reflected with the use of a bolwarra flower as the central element of her revised 2007 identity. Each range featured different aspects of the Australian landscape. She has now licensed her designs across a myriad of products including mugs, dinner plates and coasters.
