Rentfont | Ampersand Two | In tIn a classic chicken/egg scenario, it’s still not clear to this very day whether it was the book that inspired the exhibition or the other way around. Either way, the launch of Rentfont was one of the first exhibitions at the (then newly founded) Citylights Project, located in an alleyway off Centre Place in Melbourne. The event, featuring three DJs playing alphabetical tracks, drew hundreds of people and was only the second time that we were joined by our mascot – a 6.5 foot tall uppercase A (pictured). Despite the DJs blowing out a set of our best amp and speakers, the night was a great success in spreading the love of letters around Melbourne and beyond.
