Assembly

writing and design Stephen Banham | publisher Letterbox

How well can children visually recall logos? This was the question that prompted Assembly – an investigation into children’s visual memory of branding.

Assembly involved the individual interviewing of over 600 schoolchildren, aged from 7 to 15, from a multitude of schools representing different genders and socio-economic levels. Asked to draw the first logo that came into their head without any visual reference, the compelling results of Assembly are displayed in a poster format. Each participating child was listed in the publication and received a free copy.
