We first saw Jessica Hische’s work compliments of the ‘Daily Drop Cap’ project. And now the noted Illustrator and typographer Jessica Hische has made a special visit to Melbourne to present a series of typographic works on paper at Lamington Drive. The exhibition is on until April 10. Describing Melbourne as more culturally dense than New York (!), Jessica was the first of our international visitors to arrive by bicycle. She is speaking at Semi Permanent (Sydney) before returning to the Big Apple.

A New Year. With the clicking over of the date from 2009 to 2010 reintroduces the number 1. Yes, that dastardly number one again. While we happily welcome the coming of the new year, we’ll be keeping an eye out for kerning that number one. So Happy New Year and we look forward to the many great design projects planned for 2010.
