Do typefaces relate to the socio-economic conditions of different places? Grand presents a typographic mapping of 1000 metres (thus the name Grand) of the Melbourne city area, exploring the relationship between face and place. It audits the frequency and diversity of type over the kilometre, suggesting that graphic designers may in fact have a responsibility upon the broader urban environment.

Both the cover and internal pages are printed entirely on self-adhesive stock enabling Grand to be disassembled or adhered to any surface should the need arise.
